Asu Badges Placement - The military brings more pride and honor than awards and medals for bravery, bravery or a job well done. Although the Army encourages Soldiers to display their ribbons and medals, there are specific guidelines governing their attire in the Army Service Uniform (ASU). These guidelines are specifically stated in Chapter 29 of Army Regulation 670-1, which governs the dress of all military uniforms.
Arrange each ribbon on the ribbon rack in the order of priority defined in AR 670-1, with the highest ranked ribbons moving from top right to left. Although lengthy, this order begins with the highest level of military awards, such as the Medal of Honor or the Distinguished Service Cross, and includes unit awards, non-military awards, and overseas awards.

Arrange the ribbons in no more than four rows. If more than four are worn, it is recommended to start another row. The first and second rows should have the same number of ribbons, either three or four. The following rows may be short, but they should be well organized.

Pin a rack of ribbon 1/8 inch above the left breast pocket on the ASU logo in men's uniforms. Women should wear the rack on the left side of the coat and place it on the right side of the uniform with the name tag in the middle. Note that slight adjustments are allowed for women's body types.
Place the lowest medallions on the left breast of the jacket, just above the left breast pocket for men and towards the women's jacket. Medals may be arranged in more than one row as desired, but no row shall contain more medals than the bottom row, and shall be separated 1/8 inch from the one above or below it.
Make sure that the medals do not overlap in each row. Medals in the upper ranks may hang above medals in the lower ranks, but all medals must be visible. The exact number of medals in each row depends on the size of the coat and the number of medals worn.
